Heya, I was looking for a fantasy RP to call home and this one was of the most interest to me. However, I'm super detail-oriented (I think so, anyway), and have a ton of questions!
Firstly, I'm most interested in a dragon character, so I have some questions about those. First, how big do they get in their dragon form? I was surprised to see that a dragon is the queen of Arcul, so I do wonder how much contact the species has overall with civilization. Would it be possible to, for example, play the classic gold-hoarding, knight-slaying, solitary beast of old? Or is that considered highly unusual?
Are there any religions?
Is there a world map (if there is, I apologize, as I can't seem to find it), or is there one in the works?
Do species, kingdoms, and/or social classes have their own naming conventions?
How will the plot progress? Will plot progression mostly be determined by player characters' actions or is it preset? How major can player-created plots be as they relate to the world setting and plot?
How does this site view guilds/organizations? Can they be officially recognized?

Being detail orientated is perfectly fine! I'm still working on adding a few things in, and some of your questions have certainly reminded me of a few important ones. I'm regards to religion, there will be numerous Gods available for a character to worship. I've actually already got that guide under construction, and will be adding it this evening hopefully. Festivals will also occur on the site throughout the year, with some larger than others. Dragons, in their dragon form, would stand at about ten to twelve feet high. I'd like to avoid absolutely humongous dragons, since they would be far too powerful. Dragons can take the form of a human if they wish to mix into civilisation, however if not, they can totally remain as their beasty selves and hoard treasures in some cold mountain cavern. So in short, it wouldn't be too unusual. Dragons are instinctively greedy, and preferring Arcul's climate over anywhere else, I thought having one rule for the time being would be rather interesting. At the moment, there is no world map. I have one in the works though, and will add it soon enough. At the moment you can just picture the three kingdoms as three divisions of one continent, with a little bit of left over land on the right which belongs to nobody. Arcul is obviously is the most northernmost. I'm not sure what you mean by naming conventions, however if you mean naming habits - as in, if there's a particular method to elves for example, and how they name offspring - not at the moment, but I can certainly work on something like that too. At the moment, plot progression will mainly depend on players and their actions as we don't have much of a member base yet. For that very reason I roleplay a Royal character, so I can initiate little roleplay events more easily. Invasions, small battles, that kind of thing. There are everlasting tensions between the kingdoms, so it makes those events a lot easier to carry out as long as they aren't overdone and repetitive. But yes, things will mostly depend on the characters we end up having build the noble and royal social statuses. If you decide to create an IC guild or organisation that is well thought out and other players show an interest in also having characters be a part of, then yes they will be officially recognised as something a character can join or be apart of already when it comes to character application. They might also have a place when it comes to forum-wide plots and events. I hope that answered your questions! It certainly shed light on what I was lacking, which I'm thankful for since the site is still in its early days. Tempest
